NAHAHARAP sa kasong kriminal si Governor Benjamin Diokno, ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) at mga opisyal ng Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) sa Office of the Ombudsman dahil sa ma-anomalya umanong National ID System contract.
Ayon kay Ricardo Fulgencio IV, ng Stop Corruption Organization of the Philippines, Inc., sinampahan niya ng kaso sina Diokno at Angalita Casala, chairperson ng BAC; BSP Security Plant Complex head, Rogel Joseph del Rosario;; Carl Bibat, acting production manager ng BSP Plant Complex; Marianne Santos, vice chairman ng BAC; Salovador del Mundo at Giovanni Israel Joson, members ng BAC, nang lagdaan nila ang kontrata sa paggawa ng National ID na labag umano sa Government Procurement Reform Act at Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
