MOTORISTS are advised that the Loay Interior Road (LIR) along the national highway of Barangay Villa Aurora in Bilar, Bohol will be closed to vehicular traffic on March 13 and 14, 2021 to fast-track ongoing construction works along the said road section.
Due to the steep land profile of the project area, it is difficult for heavy equipment to maneuver and operate using a single lane of the road section while the other lane is open for the traveling public and may impose possible danger.
Affected motorists and commuters going to and from Tagbilaran City to Bilar and Carmen are advised to take the Cortes – Balilihan – Catigbian – Macaas Road to Balilihan – Hanopol – Batuan Road or Corella – Balilihan Provincial Road to Balilihan – Hanopol – Batuan Road.
If traveling along the east coast of the province, take the Dimiao Junction Tagbilaran East Road (TER) Dimiro – Oac – Bilar Provincial Road leading to Poblacion, Bilar, and vice versa.
Notices of the road closure will be posted along different road sections of Loay Interior Road (LIR), Carmen-Sierra Bullones – Pilar – Alicia Road (CSBPAR), Corella – Sikatuna – Loboc Road (CSLR), Batuan – Hanopol – Balilihan Road (BHBR), Cortes – Balilihan – Catigbian – Macaas Road (CBCMR), Tagbilaran East Road (TER), Corella – Balilihan Provincial Road, and along all affected municipalities to ensure that the public is well informed and to avoid further delays and complications.
